In response to the widespread adoption of remote work during the pandemic, the Rajasthan Government has launched a significant initiative to enhance employment opportunities for women. The “Rajasthan Work From Home Scheme ” is designed to offer women the chance to work from home, ultimately contributing to increased family incomes.

Launch and Funding:

• Introduced on February 23, 2022, as part of the budget announcement for the fiscal year 2022-23.
• Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot disclosed a budget allocation of Rs 100 crore to support the scheme’s implementation.

Employment Scope under Rajasthan Work From Home Scheme:

• Aims to employ 20,000 women within six months, providing opportunities in typing, data analysis, accounting, software design, sewing, grading, counseling, and more.
• Over 150 women and nine companies have already registered under the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan Work From Home Scheme:

• Open to permanent residents of Rajasthan.
• Special consideration given to widowed and divorced women.

Implementation and Training:

• The Directorate of Women Empowerment and CSR Organization will create a dedicated portal for job opportunities.
• Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited will offer essential training to enhance the skills of participating women.

The primary goals of the Rajasthan Work From Home Scheme include:

• Providing women with employment opportunities from the comfort of their homes.
• Elevating living standards and fostering self-reliance among women.
• Reducing the state’s unemployment rate through targeted job creation.
• Organizing various training programs to equip women with essential skills.

Rajasthan Work From Home Scheme Application Process:

• Visit the official website https://mahilawfh.rajasthan.gov.in/.
• Click on “Applicant (Only Female)” under the Onboarding tab.
• New users must complete the registration process by providing necessary details.
• Log in with the generated username and password.
• Explore job opportunities and apply through the “Search Opportunity” feature.
• Applicants will receive SMS notifications about the status of their applications.
