Eligibility:
All residents of Uttarakhand who are currently ration card holders, especially those below the poverty line, are eligible for the Smart Ration Card 2024.

The online application process has not yet started. Once it begins, applicants can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website of the Food Supply Department https://fcs.uk.gov.in/.
- Click on the “Downloads” option on the homepage.
- Download the Ration Card Application Form PDF.
- Fill in the required details in the application form.
- Submit the completed form to the nearest food supply department office.
Current Status of Uttarakhand Smart Ration Card Verification
- Verification Progress: Currently, 90% of consumers of 50 ration card dealers have been verified. Verification of more than 80% of consumers has been completed for 100 other dealers, and over 70% verification has been done for more than 500 dealers.
- Next Steps: The printing of smart cards will commence once the government issues the order. The cards will be distributed to verified ration card holders soon after.
