Incentives under Mera Pani Meri Virasat Scheme

Farmers who cultivate crops such as maize, cotton, millet, pulses, and vegetables instead of paddy on at least 50% of their land will receive an incentive of Rs 7,000 per acre. To qualify for this incentive, farmers must achieve a 50% or greater diversification from paddy cultivation in the previous year.

• Farmers installing irrigation machines for crop diversification will only have to pay GST on the total cost.
• Crop insurance under diversification will have the government cover the farmer’s share.
• A 40% subsidy on maize sowing machines.
• Drying machines in mandis for fair pricing of maize crops.
• Procurement of crops grown under this scheme at minimum support prices.

• Paddy cultivation is prohibited in areas where it was not practiced the previous year.
• Paddy cultivation is not allowed in Gram Panchayats with a water level of 35 meters or deeper.

3. Enter your Aadhaar number and receive an OTP.
4. Input the OTP and provide formal details, total land holding, and crop information.

2. Click on “Apply for Recharge Shaft.”
3. Complete the form with details such as construction type, Aadhaar number, farmer name, mobile number, and more.
