To mitigate this, it’s advisable to maintain a gap of at least 8 hours between consuming coffee and going to bed, allowing your body to rest undisturbed.
2. Potential for Nervousness and Headaches
Many individuals may not be aware that, for adults, the recommended daily caffeine intake should not exceed 400mg, which roughly translates to four cups of coffee. Pregnant and lactating mothers should consume even less—between 200-300mg. Exceeding these limits by consuming excessive black coffee can result in significant side effects, including insomnia, headaches, irritability, and rapid heartbeats.
